Branded Photography

Starting a small business is about one of the toughest things anyone can do. There’s no shortage of headaches, pitfalls, and potential ways to lose brain cells permanently.

Thanks to EMPLOYERS, business insurance doesn’t have to be one of them.

EMPLOYERS brands themselves as “America’s small business insurance specialist.” Worker’s comp, loss prevention, fraud prevention – you name it, they demystify it for business owners across nearly all 50 states.

To reach those business owners, EMPLOYERS needed industry-specific photography to market to them with. And it needed to be in brand.

These EMPLOYERS photos began as my first foray into creative directing. From day 1, was tasked with just about every bit of coordinating a commercial photoshoot requires.

Over the course of four years on the EMPLOYERS account, I scouted, casted, wardrobed, scheduled, and art directed over 25 different shoots and models. Above all, the most important element in each photo is the props. U.S. flags were hidden in each photo allow EMPLOYERS to own their tagline.
